Hi Bob, and welcome to WikiTree! You mentioned your ancestors in Ireland, Scotland and England. I wanted to let you know we have a great project that focuses on the UK here called United Kingdom Project It includes our Scottish Clans Project and links to our Irish Roots Project They would be a great places for you to get involved once you have settled into WikiTree.

You may find some of your ancestors are already on WikiTree and the people in both projects will be happy to help you in any way they can.

Thank you so much for joining WikiTree. Good luck with your research in 2015.

Hello Bob,

How are you doing? Hope you're enjoying our site.

Our vision is to build a collaborative tree. Please make sure to look for duplicates on WikiTree before adding a profile. Having dates and locations attached to every person assists in our mission as well.

Feel free to check out How To Use WikiTree. It's a great step-by-step guide.

Also Help Index with links to topics you may have questions on. Don't forget our G2G Forum where many of our generous members help each other out.

And of course, I'm here to help in any way I’m able. Just ask!

Thank you for volunteering to help grow our World Wide Family Tree. You are now a member of the WikiTree Community. Please note we are trying to build one Collaborative Tree which means one profile per person. It is important to ensure no duplicates are entered as you add any Profiles to WikiTree - if you have pre-1700's ancestors to add please read our Pre-1700 profiles info.

If you need any help getting started check out the help section from the menu, top left, or head over to the Help section or head over to the G2G forum and take a minute to introduce yourself in the Tree House, you might also want to check out the introductory WikiTree video that a member created.

Our Mentor Team are a friendly bunch of volunteers who will be glad to help you with specific problems if you have any.

Good luck growing your branches, Patt

Hi, I'm Bob. i have been an active genealogist for some years. I have a prime interest in South Australian Genealogy, though I have started tracing various family lines back to England, Scotland, Ireland & Germany.

I agree with the mission and am willing to abide by the nine simple rules. (I found them refreshing and in tune with my own beliefs)

Thanks Bob

Hi Bob,

Welcome as a guest to WikiTree! We're growing a FREE worldwide family tree, striving for ONE collaborative profile for every person.

A couple suggestions to get you started:

1. Feel free to ask a question at our G2G forum .

2. Our help pages, top right, have all sorts of useful information.

If you would like to contribute, click the volunteer button and leave a comment here on your profile to let our greeters know. You should include a little bit about your interest in genealogy and family history.

Good luck growing your branches, and thanks for offering to help with our shared tree :)
