DNA Connections
It may be possible to confirm family relationships with Ann by comparing test results with other carriers of her ancestors' mitochondrial DNA. However, there are no known mtDNA test-takers in her direct maternal line. It is likely that these autosomal DNA test-takers will share some percentage of DNA with Ann:

I disagree and believe that McCombe-37 & this profile are matches where someone accidentally or mistakenly entered the incorrect LNAB. These are direct ancestors of mine and I have been working to untangle these profiles and for some reason I always get stuck up here where more profiles either pop up or merges are disregarded without any consideration. Perhaps we could work on this together as I have several sources that could help- Ideas? Becky

McCombe-37 and Curry-873 do not represent the same person because: These profiles have different family attached to them.

I have reset McCombe-37 and Curry-873 as matches. This is not to say that they are duplicates, only that there are very close similarities that needs clarification - exact same dates of birth and death; exact same places of birth and death; in both instances the mother has Young as LNAB. Please do not merely reject without providing at least a semblance of an answer as to why these similarities exist (it is not enough to state "These profiles have different family attached to them.") Edit Corrected WikiTree-ID.

When I tried to merge these two profiles together, the parent profiles are different. Without knowing which profile is correct I am not able to merge these profiles together and attach it to the correct parents.

If you'll notice, I did not reject the merge, only put it in an unmerged state because the profile wasn't ready to be merged. Additional research needs to be done to determine the correct parent profiles that need to be attached to the combined profile.

It might not have been your intention to do so, but you did reject the match Eric; see here .... I was the one that re-instated the match.

Please review the matches and merges proposed at the bottom of this profile so it may be completed. Thank you and have a wonderful day!

McCombe-37 and Curry-873 appear to represent the same person because: dates, locations all match
I believe the birthday is probably wrong for either Ann (McCombe) Curry, or Ann Curry, or both. Let's investigate very carefully. I don't think they are duplicates; I think they are sisters-in-law.

Thank you VERY MUCH.  :-)

Is a match to McCombe-37, but is split because there is no good information on who her parents are. These two profiles represent the two current theories, neither of which appear to be well documented.
