Hi,

The Germany Project Leaders are doing their semi-annual check-in with all project members and we want to verify that you’re still interested in being a member of the Project. Please respond by private message and let me know.

REMINDERS: (1) We use Google Groups for project collaboration and you aren’t yet a member of the group, please submit a join request here (make sure to add your name/WikiTree ID to the request). (2) I see you've added German_Roots (our old project name) to your G2G tags, you should also add GERMANY to your followed G2G tags so you don't miss any discussions in G2G (see: Help:Tags#How_to_follow_tags Help:Tags).

Are you currently working with one of our Sub-projects or Teams? If not, take a look at our main Project page for a full list. We recently launched a new Profile Improvement Team and are seeking new team members. Let me know if you’re interested.

We really appreciate your contributions on WikiTree, and thank you for all your hard work. If you have any questions, please ask. We would also love to hear any feedback you may have for the project.

I look forward to hearing from you soon!

Traci ~ Germany Project co-leader

Hi Dennis,

Thanks for taking the pre-1700 quiz and congratulations on earning the badge. Here's hoping you use it working in the German Roots project! Regards, Natalie, pre-1700 Greeter

Hi Dennis,

Thanks for all your work on WikiTree. I noticed that you recently created a profile for a pre-1700 ancestor.

There have recently been some updates to the Pre-1700 Profile help page and the Pre-1700 Quiz since you took it in July 2018. Please review both and let me know if you have any questions or concerns. You will notice that the wording has been modified to more fully explain the sourcing needed for pre-1700 profiles.

We're looking for reliable sources to add to the various lists. Does riedesel.org provide any sources which would be good additions?

Thanks,

Debi

Hi Dennis, I note you are creating unsourced pre-1700 profiles. Will you be able to provide those sources later? If not perhaps you would be able to liaise with one of the Wikitree projects to assist.

Chris.

Thanks for your response - excellent :) Chris

Hi Dennis,

The website you are using as a source for the pre-1700 profiles won't open for me. Is it still active?

Debi

PS moved this from the ancestor where I originally posted it so that others would know that I had asked. Hopefully that will prevent you from getting asked multiple times.

Hi Dennis

As you have been a member of WikiTree for about a week now I thought I would check in to see how you are getting on with the site.

Has the New Member How-To  been helpful or left you with any questions?

I am here to help with any problems or queries you may have. Just click my name, then ask in the comment section of my page or send me a private message.  Sometimes links don't work in emails.  If that's happened to you, check the public comments on your profile. The links will work from there.

Hi Dennis,

Thanks for taking the Pre-1700 Quiz!

Because pre-1700 ancestors are shared by many descendants, working within the projects which coordinate them is essential.

Use the Pre-1700 Projects list to find one which best fits your research focus, whether time period, location, or topic. Read the goals and tasks of the project and join if it is a good fit.

Add the project tag to your Following list to be kept up to date on any activity that occurs for that project.

Can't find what you're looking for? Let me know, and I can make some suggestions! :-)

Welcome to WikiTree Dennis!

I am happy to welcome you as a full member to the WikiTree community! To help save you time, energy and frustration, please start with our New Member How-To pages.

Click the green Tag on your profile page, you'll see others following the same things you are researching. The more Tags you add that include locations, periods of history or other genealogical interests, the more links to the community research options.

Please ask if you have any questions as I am always happy to help!

Cindy ~ WikiTree Greeter

PS If links do not work in an email from WikiTree, try them from the comment section of your profile page.
