Hi, Christy! We'd love to have you join the Southern Super Sweepers again for the January 2024 Connect-a-Thon. This Connect-a-Thon runs from Friday, January 19 at 8 a.m. EST, through Monday, January 22, at 8 a.m. EST.
Congratulations on certifying to work on pre-1700 profiles! It’s very important to read and understand the Pre-1700 Profiles page. These profiles for deep ancestors are shared by many, and collaborating on them works best if we all follow the guidelines in the certification quiz.
Primary sources should always be added to pre-1700 profiles at the time they are created. If you don't have a source for a pre-1700 profile, it would be best to ask for help in the G2G forum before creating the profile.
Thank you Hilary. I still have lots to learn on WikiTree. When I am ready to update any pre-1700 profiles I will use your tip to ask for help in the G2G forum.
Thank you for signing the WikiTree Honor Code; we appreciate it! We're happy to have you as a new Wiki Genealogist. Make sure to check out the Intro to WikiTree page to learn how to get involved: https://www.wikitree.com/wiki/Help:How_to_Use_WikiTree.
Just a reminder, Connect-a-Thon registration closes midnight EDT, Wednesday, April 10. We'd love to have you back with the Southern Super Sweepers!

Hope to see you there! Nan, Co-Captain
We have two google groups - one for discussion (https://groups.google.com/g/wtvirginiadiscuss) and one for managed profiles (https://groups.google.com/g/wtvirginia). Send a join request if you'd like to join either or both (include your WikiTree ID so we know it's you).
When you get a chance, please add your info on the Virginia Team page (https://www.wikitree.com/wiki/Space:Virginia_Team). If you haven't already looked it over, Virginia Project (https://www.wikitree.com/wiki/Project:Virginia) is the main project page and has lots more information.
Let me know if you have any questions.
Cheers,
Sjana
