I was born in Washington DC in 1952. My father was Harry James Harth from Yonkers NY whose father was Henry Harth from German heritage and mother was Catherine M. Hannigan from Irish heritage. My mother was Bessie Edna Pinkham born in Ellsworth Maine, whose mother was Louisa Mae Gray and father was Byron Herbert Pinkham. I believe that the Gray and Pinkham families were in Maine a long time, both families immigrating from England in the 1600-1770’s. The Hannigan and Harth families immigrated from Ireland and Germany in the 1880’s.

Thanks for taking the Pre-1700 Quiz!
Because pre-1700 ancestors are shared by many descendants, working within the projects which coordinate them is essential.
Use the Pre-1700 Projects list to find one which best fits your research focus, whether time period, location, or topic. Read the goals and tasks of the project and join if it is a good fit.
Add the project tag to your Following list to be kept up to date on any activity that occurs for that project.
Can't find what you're looking for? Let me know, and I can make some suggestions! :-)
