11 Sep 1728 - Arrived in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania on the ship "James Goodwill"
d. ca. Sep 1745 in Manheim Township, Berks County, Pennsylvania[2]
Will of Andrew Kraft: written 24 Oct 1743, recorded 8 Oct 1745.
wife and executor: Maria Catrina
names of children not given
brother: Michael
witnesses: Samuel Philbert, George Lewis Wagenar, Gottfried Albright Strauss and John Caspar Stover
Codicil: 20 Jan 1743/44. Witnesses: John Nichol Shuster, Hieronimus Fisher, and Conrad Weiser, proved at Heidelberg.
Andreas Krafft married twice:
16 Nov 1723. He first married Maria Catharina Schaefer (~1695- ) at Waldengelloch Lutheran Church, Waldangelloch, Rhein-Neckar-Kreis, Baden-Württemberg, Germany. The couple had the following children:
There is no record of Andreas being Gottfried's son. However, he interacts heavily with Gottfried's other children so is likely Gottfried's child. Stoever baptised 10 children, starting with Joh Jacob in 1730. Records include father's name, sponsors' names and children, birth and baptism dates, but not mother.
While Andreas' marriage is in Waldangelloch churchbook, his baptism has not been found. There are no records officially tying Andreas to Gottfried.

DNA Connections
It may be possible to confirm family relationships with Andreas by comparing test results with other carriers of his Y-chromosome or his mother's mitochondrial DNA.
However, there are no known yDNA or mtDNA test-takers in his direct paternal or maternal line.
It is likely that these autosomal DNA test-takers will share some percentage of DNA with Andreas:
What is the evidence that Andreas married a second time in 1730 to Maria Catharina Kitzmuller? Strausstown Roots only appears to cite a source (Annette Kunselman Burgert's book, certainly a worthy source) for the first marriage in 1723.
She is listed in "Genealogical data concerning the ancestors and descendants of John Jacob Shaffer (1763-1816) of Mercersburg, Franklin, PA." They note that the first four children baptized had Kitzmuller's as sponsors.
I'm tempted to buy a short-term Archion subscription to see if I could find:
1. A death record for Maria Catharina Schaeffer in Waldangelloch
2. A marriage record for Andreas and Maria Catharina Kitzmuller in Waldangelloch (since Strausstown Roots says that Maria Catharina Kitzmuller was born in Waldangelloch)
I'll consider it, but I'm hoping that someone with an active Archion subscription sees this!
Krafft-176 and Kraft-141 appear to represent the same person because: Same person. The death date in Kraft-141 is closer to correct because he left a will, recorded October 1745
