Mabel Olmsted was born about 1660, in Hartford, Connecticut, to Nicholas Olmsted and Sarah Loomis.
She married Daniel Butler (1650-1692) on April 3, 1670 and they had five children together.
After Daniel's death, she married Michael Taintor (1652-1730), as his second wife, on August 26, 1697, and they had one daughter together.
Mabel died on June 4, 1731, in Wethersfield, Connecticut, at the age of 71.
