A lot of info there but you would have to be the judge on any information on Anna Maria Dewald.

That is very frustrating when that happens, and you are not alone with feeling like that. It is best to check the profile managers contributions before you contact them, if they have not made any for 60 days or longer that may mean they are no longer contributing to WT, so you might not get a response from them. In these cases if they are "open" profiles, these are ones that have an open padlock in the top right-hand corner, then go ahead and link to them and add any information and sources that you have. We are a collaboration site, so we welcome our new members improving profiles that need it.
Some members add profiles from a GEDCOM, and have not rewritten the biographies or added verifiable sources, it may be that they have missed them when they finished adding from their GEDCOM, it is very easy to miss some, I am finding some that I created when I first joined that I had forgotten to go back and redo them. It may also be that they fell ill or sadly passed away so have been unable to come back and redo them.
If they are still active on WT and are not responding then this link [https://www.wikitree.com/wiki/Help:Unresponsive%20Profile%20Managers Unresponsive Profile Managers} will show you the protocol we use in these instances
I hope this helps, any problems, please let me know
Take care
Karen
It looks like the profile manager has not been active for a few months, so if you send a message to [email address removed] and explain that the profile manager is no longer active, and you have family to connect to Oscar Joel Wildermuth (Wildermuth-179) and can they add you to the trusted list, so you can connect family to him, it does not show if his wife has had a profile created for her, the team may be able to see if she has one connected to him.
We do only like one profile per person, if a duplicate has been created then they would have to be merged together, it may be that he has not been able to find any additional information, and forgot to open it up so someone else can add to it,
I hope this helps, any problems please let me know
take care
Karen
Thanks for taking the Pre-1700 Quiz!
Because pre-1700 ancestors are usually shared by many descendants, collaborating with members of the projects which coordinate them is essential.
Use the Pre-1700 Projects list to find one which best fits your research focus, whether time period, location, or topic. Review the project pages to learn about resources and guidelines as well as how to collaborate with the project members. You may find that the Pennsylvania Project has interesting resources to aid with your research.
Can't find what you're looking for? Let me know, and I can make some suggestions! :-)
Remember to cite reliable sources in pre-1700 profiles you manage, or edit. (See:https://www.wikitree.com/wiki/Help:Pre-1700_Profiles#Cite_reliable_sources).

The profile manager for the other George Wildermuth hasn’t been active since 2019. Give it about a month and try to merge them then. https://www.wikitree.com/wiki/Help:Matching_and_Merging_FAQ#What_can_you_do_if_you.27re_waiting_for_approval_from_someone_else.3F

Now that you have had a little time to try WikiTree, there are a few more features you may find useful.
Ideas on what to include in a profile can be found in Styles and Standards, including some tips on writing biographies.
If you need to describe an event, an heirloom or a location relevant to your research, you may like to learn about Free Space Profiles.
Lastly, sometimes you'll run into unresponsive profile managers. We have a process for resolving those unfortunate situations.
If you have any questions, feel free to ask via my profile page. Mags, WikiTree Mentor
