Sara Westfaal was baptized in 1691 at Esopus, Ulster County, New York. Her first name was often recorded as Zara and her family name is seen with spelling variations such as Westvaal, Westfael, and Wesfael.
She married Jacob Kuykendaal in 1712 in Minisink New York. He was the son of Leur and Grietje (Tack) Kuykendall. Jacob and Zara (Sara) had nine known children.
Sara appears to have moved on with some of her children to Hampshire County, Virginia (which is now located in West Virginia). Sara apparently died 20 Feb 1777 in Hampshire County, Virginia. Some versions of this profile have indicated that she died in Ulster County, New York, in 1760 or 1777. The Westfall Genealogy is cited as a source death in Ulster County in 1777.

Research Notes
The data section of this profile formerly showed her with a middle name of B. Is there a source or any other basis for this? Middle names were virtually unheard of during her lifetime.

Westvael-13 and Westvaal-17 appear to represent the same person because: Jacob Van Kuykendahl had two wives, Adrientje Tietsoort and Sara ("Zara") Westvael. With Sara he had 7 children including Johannes Kuykendahl. The two profiles are of the same person and should be merged. The surviving profile should be Westvaal-17 because it has much better sources and geneology. The spelling of the surname should be Westvael.. Thank you.
On the subject of whether these are her parents, note that her first son was Johannes (the paternal grandfather apparently didn't get a namesake -- maybe they didn't want to honor Luur?) and second daughter was Marretjen.
Sorry Carrie thought you meant you wanted to change her LNAB because you changed her married name to one of the Westfall variations. (can't remember which one).
Her married name is Kuykendall. (or a variation of. Lol!)
I was just commenting on what Ellen posted and giving my reasoning for not changing it to Westfaal. See under her church records https://www.wikitree.com/wiki/Westvaal-17#Church_records her supposed baptismal name is Westfaal but her married name (I should say 'name at marriage') is Westvaal. Normally it should be changed to the first surname that appears, within reason, but her parents aren't mentioned in the Kuykendaal New Jersey Genealogy Society file. I can't even guarantee who the parents of Pieternelletjen Kwakkenbos are. :)
Johannes Westfall (Sarah's father) oldest son Jurian and his friend Jacob Kuykendall hunted and trapped with the Minsi Indians as youths, and later traded with them. Jacob established the first trading post while Juriean (Sara's brother) established an orchard in the same area.
Her brother Juriean married Jacob Kuykendall's sister Styntie Kuykendall.
Sarah married Styntje Kuykendall's brother Jacob Kuykendall.
Three of her aunt's married into the Kuykendall family.
There are many Westfall Kuykendall marriages.
Her aunt Rymerig Westfall married a Quick (Quick being one of the names in baptism records of Sara's children. ) who had a daughter who married a Dekker.
Just because the witnesses aren't "traditional" doesn't mean Juriean and Marytje aren't her parents. There are several instances where we've seen baptisms that haven't followed the "Dutch tradition" for various reasons.
I don't believe the "tradition" should be the reason to change her LNAB to her married name especially at this point.
I don't think it's 100% certain that these are her parents. Her children's names and baptism witnesses aren't very traditional. Therefore, her marriage surname is a better choice.
