Tammie! Thanks so much for making Appalachia 'Shine during our December 2023 Challenge. Our January 2024 Challenge is all about the Connect-A-Thon and adding Cemetery Categories to profiles.
I see you've been adding Find A Grave memorials sources to profiles. That's excellent! WikiTree Plus can do a lot of neat things when it can see a Find A Grave memorial number in a source, such as hinting additional relationships, letting us know we may have typo'd a birth/death date, or indicating that we may have accidentally cited a different family member's memorial.
Some of the ones you've added cite an index of Find A Grave memorials, like Ancestry's index or FamilySearch's index, and not the source citation from the bottom of the memorial itself. Unfortunately these indexes include neither the URL nor memorial number in their citation so WikiTree Plus can't work its magic. This tends to happen more frequently, but not solely, when importing GEDCOM files to WikiTree.
Help:Find A Grave#Links in source citations has a great guide on how to cite the original Find A Grave memorial, and it's really easy too -- just paste it right over! :) There's an extra step if you'd like a little pizazz in how it's linked (see above article), but the additional features unlock with or without that last step.
Hello Tammie, I am curious about the FG classes you mentioned on G2G post for this weeks Challenge. I've used the website for many years, but suspect there is much that I don't know. I could not find any info on their website for classes.
Hi Tammie, Thank you for participating in the March-April POW’s who Died in Andersonville Prison Challenge, there were 25 members who contributed to the Challenge. At the beginning of the challenge there were 137 Profiles created, we are now at 1,629 profiles.

I am just doing a follow up for the Integrators Project.
Now that the connect- a -thon is over and maybe you have some time from your family wedding event etc ,maybe you could add a profile or two from the needs category and get on our tracker.

I enjoyed my first Clean-a-thon. It was a learning experience for sure. It made me want to work harder to make our Tree even better and keep adding to it.
