I'm so very sorry to hear of Pat's passing. We were long time collaborators on Cornish profiles. And she always had a cheerful outlook and she never failed to pick me up and brighten my day with her emails.

My sincere condolences to her family.

I am very sorry to hear that Pat has passed away. She was a great contributor to Tonkin profiles and her work is greatly appreciated.

Hi Pat - Having sorted the Hornblows in London I have just finished remaking Sarah Cadle nee Hornblows website

which Ive renamed Sarah's Journey https://sites.google.com/view/the-story-of-sarah-hornblow/home When John Cadle migratedin 1820 his age was given as age 24- he died in 1824 age 28 - born therefore around 1796 THEN I found a John Cadle marriage in High Wycombe A John Cadle marriage bond in High Wycombe to Sarah White from Chinnor in 1794 - he died 1841 could they be the parents of OUR JOHN CADLE born to them a year or 2 later ?? I don't know from where the info about Settler John Cadle being in High Wycome originated - someone gave it to me 20 odd years ago BUT thus far I haven't found a birth there for him - BUT with this marriage bond it seems possible he did originate from there . The alternative is possible from Westbury on Severn in Gloucestershire Westbury on Severn- John son of Joseph & Anne Cadle Bb 8 Oct 1790 and his father Joseph Cadle Bb 3 Feb 1760 son of John Cadle & Margaret- Westbury on Severn Glos. ( FMP) still looking

The United Kingdom Project has not been active since 2018 and we are now completely closing it down. We are removing all UK project badges. If you still have an interest in the UK and have not already joined another project, then you will need to join the England, Ireland, Scotland or Wales Project by answering one or more of their G2G posts. If your interest is in the British Isles and British Crown Dependencies and Overseas Territories, then please contact me directly.

Hi Pat,

It's that time of the year again: check-in time! As England Project Leaders, we like to check in with you every six months or so to see how things are progressing. Back in May, we didn't ask for a response due to the rapid emergence of Covid-19 because we understood that people's lives were changing rapidly. While we are still living in a Covid world, we do need to hear back from you this time around.

First of all, how are you doing? What are you currently working on? Are you happy with the team(s) you're in, or would you like to change things up?

Secondly, we're looking for some feedback on the Google Group and our Discord server. Do you use either or both of these? If you don't use either, why not? Do you have any suggestions on how we can improve participation and collaboration, either generally or for you personally?
