Have you registered for the 2021 Source-a-Thon yet? [closed]

Question

October 1 - October 4 is our sixth annual "Source-a-Thon"!

This three-day event is for a good cause (sourced genealogy!), there will be lots of door prizes donated from around the genealogy community, and it will be lots of fun.

The marathon starts Friday, October 1 at 8 AM (EDT) and ends Monday, October 4, 8 AM (EDT) but you don't need to participate the whole time! If you can join for any of it, please post an ANSWER below saying either the team you'd like to be on (see the team list) or your genealogical interests or geographic location and we'll assign a team before the start of the event.

I want to join, and I'd love to be on team Northwest Terriers if they'll have me! I was in the Source-a-thon 2 years ago and it really grew my abilities to use WikiTree effectively. The majority of my own ancestors were in Ohio or Indiana from the beginning, so I'm really glad to see this new team.

I notice you have ancestors from Maine. That is pretty much dead center of the Nor'Easters. You are welcome to join us or browse the team list at the top if you prefer a different team.

I would like to participate, but since I get frequently interrupted by the needs of a spouse for who I am caregiver or other things, I need to be on a "low-pressure" team. I've decided the Toddlin' Tortoises sounds perfect for someone in my situation. I will do what I am able on that team.

By the way, I have the utmost respect for those who are able to devote lots of time to this and who make many contributions. I want to especially wish the Southern Super-Sweepers, a wonderful group of people with whom I have previously been affiliated during "thons," all the best!
