Catherine Mitchell b. abt 1863 d. abt 1919

Married to Thomas Morrisey/Morrison/Morris b. abt 1857 Galway, Ireland d. abt 1909/10 Warrington, Lancaster, England

Can't find any trace of descendants or what happened to the family.

My grandfather was Joseph Albert Morrison/Morris who fought in WWI was honourably discharged in 1919, was disabled (lost one eye). Moved to South Africa and married in 1934.  Died March 1954 in a motor car accident.

We have blocked for so long with this and really need to find out more information as soon as possible.  My father is now 80 years old and needs to know what happened to his father's family.

Thank you for any information you could provide.

Thank you Heather,

For some reason I had not seen your reply.  If you still have the information please could you send it to me via email and attach to my tree if you can.

Thanks again for this information.

Added some ore census details to https://www.wikitree.com/wiki/Morriss-211

Added comments to Sabina - Birth Registration of children born Oldham and her maiden name https://www.wikitree.com/wiki/Unknown-443328

I have added Sabina to the family - The Death in Massachusettes fits with her parents Michael and Sabina and her  approx date of birth I believe the marriage was to William Thomas in Oldham (1885). Strangely a death for a Sabina Thomas was recorded in South Africa much later (1946) but her date of birth (1865) is also a good match - maybe worth investigate to see if she went 'missing' and to eliminate the South African as just a coincidence
