Would it be possible to create a system which isolates a name within a country

You can do a search for a name and and birth or death place keyword.

I did a search for a common name, Roberts, and got lots of hits in the US, UK, and elsewhere.

I then added the birthplace “Maine” and got a number of hits specific to Maine.

I then did “Oxford, Maine” and got a few hits where the birthplace included this place. I then did “Oxford County, Maine” and got a different set of hits.

Inconsistency in how place names are entered will complicate this process.

There is apparently no way to export the results, although I suppose you could copy the resultant list and with a bit of manipulation import it into a spreadsheet.

Not elegant, but perhaps a functional work-around if the list is not too long.
