"Kessinger Kousins and their related kinfolk" 1999 by Patricia Ann Kessinger Rhodes and Richard Guy Rhodes (Phoenix, AZ) p. 9: IGI records show a Susanna Fisher christened 8 Aug 1705 in Katholisch., Elzach., Freiburg County, Baden. Father: Jacobus C. 3 July 1701. Mother: Maria Burgerin (Extracted from christening records). May not be correct Susanna Fisher. This Susanna Fisher had siblings: Mathias Fisher c 15 Jan 1703 & Josephus Fisher c. 2 Feb 1704; Catharine c. 24 Feb 1708; Maria c. 17 Mar 1712; Agatha c. 2 Feb 1716 & Joannes Georgius c. 11 Apr 1718, all in Katholisch, Elzach, Freiburg County, Baden, Germany.

Susanna may have had a sister named Ursula; a Ursula Fischerin and a Conrad Braun were sponsors at the baptism of Solomon Kessinger b. 3 Mar 1745; baptized 24 Mar 1745 at Warwick Congregation, Lancaster Co., Pa. (Warwick Baptisms book, p. 12), son of Andreas Kessinger.

The Pedigree Resource File names Susanna's parents as Johannes Fischerin [sic!] and Eva Maria Kiltau; father b. 1691 in Germany, mother b. 1700 in Germany. Susanna is the only child listed. Her birthplace is given as Selzen, Mainz-Bingen, Rheinland-Pfalz. Her death info is 2 July 1760 in Lancaster Co., PA https://www.ancestry.com/family-tree/tree/10215953/family

Phyllis Ratjen and Mary Jo Smith in their book "Kessinger--Descendants of Solomon" refer to an emigration document: “We do have some documentation for an Andreas Kessinger who in April 1737 was given permission along with his wife, Susanna Fischerin and four children to leave Germany. The children were: George Michael Kessinger, age 9 years; Mathias Kessinger, age 6 years; Andreas Kessinger, age 4 years; and Catherine Barbara Kessinger, age 1 ½ years.” (p.3-4)

A copy of the document “RELEASE FROM SERVITUDE” and a "very" rough translation appears below.

THIS DOCUMENT IS A RELEASE FROM SERVITUDE:

“The Baron and Landholder, by the grace of God, to Baden and Hachberg, Landholder of Sausenberg, Lord of Spanheim and Ebershein, Lord of Roteln, Badenweiler, Lahn and Mahlberg.

We announce herewith, after the humble request by the applicant ANDREAS KESSINGER of Welschneureuth, government employee, wed honorable born, his wife Suzanna, given to him in marriage and their four (4) children: George Michael age 9 years; Mathias age 6 years; Andreas age 4 years; and Catherine Barbara age 1 ½ years;. and all being of sound mind, will be released of servitude to us, through our grace by our Lordship. But in the case of return to any of our holdings, they automatically return to their original servitude.

With this document we announce that A. Kessinger as of now is released from servitude to us, this has been signed at the Residence of the Duke in the front of Karis Kuhden, on April 9, 1737. “
