Winifred (Hatch) Huckstep was born in Tenterden, Kent, England.

Winifred Hatch was born about 1552 in Tenterden, Kent, England to parents Thomas Hatch and Joan Brissenden.

She married Stephen Huckstep on 14 Feb 1584 in Tenterden, Kent, England.

Children: Lydia, Thomas, John, John, Thomas, Joan, Ann.

She died in Oct 1592 in Tenterden, Kent, England, and was buried on 6 Oct 1592 there. [1]

"Winifred Hatch, b. say 1556 (assuming age 20 at first marriage), bur. Tenterden 6 Oct. 1592; m. (1) there 18 June 1576, Richard Willes, as his second wife,[13] bur. there 3 May 1582.[14] The will of “Richard Willes of Tenterden in the Countie of Kent y[e]oman” dated 1 May 1582 and proved 31 May 1582 left to: daughter Mildred Willes, at 19; daughters Joan Willes, Anne Willes, and Susan Willes, at 19; son James Willes, at 21; wife Winifred, also named executrix; and son John Willes, at 21. The will mentioned land in Tenterden which he had “of the gifte and graunte of Jhon Hatch as by his de[e]de” dated 8 May, 18 Elizabeth I [1576]. Witnesses: Richard Brissenden and William Marden “yongest.”[15]Winifred m. (2) Tenterden 13 Feb. 1583/4, Stephen Huckstep,[16]probably bur. there 20 June 1633 as “Stephen Huckstepp a very auncient man .” (from The New England Historical and Genealogical Register, Fall 2020)

"Administration on the goods of Thomas Hatche of Tenterden, co. Kent, deceased, intestate, was granted 13 October 1568 to Joane Hatche, his relict, Thomas Browne of Tenterden, mercer, and John Browne of Biddenden, mercer, being bound in L60. Inventory, L69, 8s. 4d.

"On 25 October 1574 Joane Hatch alias Brissenden, adminstratrix of the goods of Thomas Hatch, exhibited her account, and the Court assigned to Winifred, Katherine, Elinore, and Elizabeth Hatch, daughters of the said Hatch, L3. 13s. 9d., to be equally divided among them, and this is agreed to by Richard Brissenden, now husband of the said Joane. (Archdeaconry of Canterbury, Act Books, vol. 16, fo. 69.)"[2]

...To my sister Winnfrithe's children as follows:
- To her eldest son Thomas Huckstepp £15
- and to her other son John Huckstepp £30.
- If John die, reversion to his sons Stephen and Nathanaell, equally divided, at the age of twenty-one
- To her eldest daughter Joane, widow of Robert Numan late of Crayford deceased, 20s. and a silver spoon which I had of Mr Chapman, and to her children at twenty-one 10s. each
- To her second daughter Anne, wife of William Snatte of Hunto [Hunton], 20s., and to Anna Snatte her daughter 20s. at twenty-one.
- To her third daughter Susan, wife of Benjamin Robus of Kennarton, £5, and to her sons and daughter Thomas Ramkyn, William Rambyn and Mary Rankin, Katherine Robus, Lidia Robus, and Susan Robus 20s. each at twenty-one.
- Also I do give unto Lidia Tilden, wife of Nathaniell Tilden, my sister's youngest daughter, £10, and to her children Thomas, Joseph, Mary, Sarah, Judith and Lydia £20, equally divided, to be paid at twenty-one.
- ... To Steven Huckstep my book of Mr Calvin's sermons upon Galatians
- To Nathaniell Tilden, William Snatte, Beniamyn Robus ..., that have married my kinswomen, 10s. each as a token of my love.
- My will regarding all my lands. ... To Joane Numan, sister Wynifrith's daughter, 40s. a year for life. To Liddia Tilden wife of Nathaniell Tilden forty shillings a year during the term of her natural life...

Hatch-2972 and Hatch-69 appear to represent the same person because: dates on 2972 are off my a century, they make no sense at all based on husband and daughter. Must be a typo. Husband and daughter are the same.

When you do her lineage chart it appears her parents are siblings, must be a glitch somewhere.
