The ancestral home of this emigrant was Munsterappel Bei Rockenhausen in the Pfalz , located 10 km south of Bad Kreuznach.[1]

Maria Margretha, bpt. 9 Oct 1707 (sic)
Johann Georg, bpt. 29 Jul 1708; last child born in Germany
27 Sep 1709: while the family was passing through Holland on their way to England, Lutheran Church books in Rotterdam record the birth of Anna Magdalena, daughter of Johannes Leuik and his wife, Anna
Barb. Freet.
1 July 1710: The household of Johannes Leick first appears on the Governor Hunter Lists (# 450).[3]The household is listed as 2 persons over 10 years.
17 Jan 1715/16: Johannis Leek is naturalized as a British Citizen.[4]
26 Aug 1724: Johannes Leuck was among the Palatines willing to continue living on Livingston Manor.[5]
1763: Johannes Like was a freeholder at East Camp.[6]
Research Notes
He is sometime mis-assigned as Johannes Ludwig. But this probably refers to George Ludwig Leicht (1666-1711) (Hunter Lists #449)
The following profile was previously linked to this profile as his wife. No sources found for Anna Maria Barbara Winter(in).
There was a John Lichte, aged 40, with his wife, daughters, aged 5 and 2. He was a shoemaker who was among the third group of arrivals in England in 1709.[7]; however, there is no proof that he is the person represented by this profile.[8]
There was alsoa a Hanss Leick with wife and child at Heessberg about 1716/1717, according to Simmendinger; however, as this family was recorded next to Eberhard Jung (who married a Schmidt), this Hessberg Leick probably was either #448 (Henrich Leicht) or #449 (Ludwig Leicht).[9]
The ancestral home of this emigrant was Munsterappel Bei Rockenhausen in the Pfalz, located 10 km south of Bad Kreuznach.[10]
As they passed through Holland on their way to England, the Rotterdam Lutheran church book there noted that "Johannes Leuik and his wife Anna Barb. Freet" had a daughter Anna Magdalena, baptized 27 Sep 1709.
He was #450 on Governor Hunter's Lists.

I've completed some merges and updated the profile with sources. Still searching for the Winterin name for his wife, which I suspect is a mis-assignment. Her maiden name was Fred/Freet
Leick-10 and Leick-3 appear to represent the same person because: Same person. The death date of "about 1750" makes more sense than 1789. Two or 3 profiles for is wife also soon to be merged
Jones (2020) does not mention who are the parents of this person. The parents currently attached are those for Johann Henrich, son of Ludwig Leicht and Margaretha Köhler (widow of Johann Henry Wilhelm), currently linked as the brother of this profile. Jones records Johan Henrich as the only child by Ludwig and Margaretha. Ludwig Leicht his father later remarried Maria Martha Unknown and had a son, Johann Eberhardt (1712- ). I suggest that the parents are de-linked from this profile.
Leick-3 and Leick-10 do not represent the same person because: I just approved this merge, but after reviewing again, the two profiles represent different people and they should NOT be merged. That is, # 449 and #450 on the Hunter Lists
Thanks for working on getting these two men sorted out, Michael.
Leick-3 and Leick-10 are connected to different wife profiles (Leick-3 is married to UNKNOWN-28343 and Leick-10 to Freet-4) , but the two profiles appeared to me to be created to represent the same woman. Leick-40 is currently connected to wife Anna Maria Barbara Winterin (abt.1688-), who appears to be a different person fro the other two, and probably is the correct wife for one of these two men.
Leick-40 and Leick-3 do not represent the same person because: There is insufficient data to merge these two people. The names are very common among their group.
Leick-40 and Leick-3 appear to represent the same person because: I believe these -- and also Leick-10 -- are intended to represent the same person. There are problems with some of the data. It would be nice to have sourced information to reconcile these problems, but if no one has sources to add and it is agreed that these are intended to be the same person, the data issues can be sorted out later.
When we determine that two profiles are INTENDED to represent the same person, and there are no conflicts that prevent merging (we cannot merge two people with completely different parents), we need to merge the profiles. Conflicting dates can be documented in the text section of the merged profile, and disproven information can be discarded. I will repropose this merge. There is no benefit in preserving a completely unsourced profile that has almost no content, once we have identified another profile that is intended to be the same person.
Leick-40 and Leick-3 appear to represent the same person because: Leick-40 has the same name as Leick-10, which I think is the same person as Leick-3. Consistent biographical info, wife name, and child.
Leick-10 and Leick-3 appear to represent the same person because: Same daughter (Anna Maria born 1714). The names (Johannes vs Johannes Ludwig) are not identical, but we often see this sort of difference. Same wife Anna Barbara (albeit variations of her name). Consistent birth dates.
None of the sources can be reached. I agree with most of what you say but I don't see a source for the death date. One hundred and twenty nine is kind of old.
