Hannah Briggs, daughter of William and Mary Briggs is shown in Boston birth records as well as in One Basset Family in America as having born and died on August 28, 1642.[1][2] Then on the subsequent page of the Boston births, baptisms, marriages and deaths, 1630-1699, she is shown as having been born to the same parents, the "6th month, 1642".[2] According to researchers, the birth/death was inaccurate, and her birth in August 1642 is correct.[3]
Hannah married John Harris September 10, 1657, in Boston, Massachusetts. She married, second, Wolston Brockway, by 1664.[4]
Hannah Brockway died February 6, 1687-8 in Lyme, New London, Connecticut. [5][6]

She would have been quite young (15 or 16) when he was born, which would seem to make her young to marry a year before. Or possibly we have a dating problem. I understand the younger Harris settled in Lyme. If he came with his mother, he would have been aged about 5-6 when she remarried; and she still only ~21.
Any experts in this family? I have discovered the Brockway-Briggs line is lineal, so starting to take a look.
Briggs-6997 and Briggs-1131 appear to represent the same person because: These two profiles do represent the same person. In the Boston Birth records (and also in the Bassett family source), she was listed as having been born and died the same day. On the next page of the Boston Birth records, she is shown as having been born 6th month, 1642. Researchers from NEHGR investigated this and found that the birth/death was in error. She did live, and went on to marry twice. Please merge, retaining spouses and death info from -1131
Briggs-6997 and Briggs-1131 appear to represent the same person because: Everything matches except date & location of death which needs further research.
