Marie Elisabeth Labarre was born 3 Oct 1681 and was baptized the next day at Beaubassin. She was the daughter of Jean LaBarre and Catherine Unknown. Her godparents were Pierre Morin and Anne Du Gast who named her Elisabeth.[1][2].
In 1686, at Chiqnitou dit Beaubassin, Marie, aged 5, was living with her parents, LABARRE, aged 50, and Catherine, aged 46 [sic]. The family owned 1 gun and was living on 3 arpents of cultivable land with 3 hogs.[3]
Isabelle married Jean Baptiste Forest about 1698 in Acadia.[4]
