Biography

When Femmetje (Phebe) Brokaw was born on June 10, 1707, in Raritan, New Jersey, her father, Jan, was 26 and her mother, Sarah, was 22. She married Jan Staats about 1727, in Somerset, New Jersey. She died in 1753 in Hillsborough, New Jersey, at the age of 46.
