Biography

Victor was born about 1716, possibly in Grand-Pré. He was the son of Pierre dit Pinou LeBlanc and Françoise Landry [1]

In 1731 he was godfather to his brother Pierre Raymond, as shown on Pierre Raymond's birth record. [2]

In 1736 he was godfather to his brother Pierre-Hilaire in Grand-Pré.[1]

Around 1740 he married Marie Aucoin, daughter of René Aucoin and Madeleine Bourg.[1]

Research Notes

Victor LeBlanc was originally connected to parents Claude LeBlanc and Jeanne Dugas based on research by Bona Arsenault. [3] More recent research by Stephen White has shown that he was the son of Pierre dit Pinou LeBlanc and Françoise Landry.[1]
