Biography

When Ervil Morrell LeBaron was born on February 22, 1925, in Colonia Juárez, Chihuahua, Mexico, his father, Dayer LeBaron, was 38 and his mother, Maude, was 32. His family were pioneers in the formation of the Latter Day Saints church and served as priests and elders. They were excommunicated due to belief in plural marriage.

When their father died in 1951, he passed the leadership of the community on to his son Joel LeBaron. Joel eventually incorporated the community as the Church of the Firstborn of the Fulness of Times in Salt Lake City, Utah.[2] Joel's younger brother, Ervil LeBaron, was his second in command during the early years of the church's existence. Later they split over church leadership.

• Died in prison, convicted of ordering the murders of rival polygamists and of apostates from the sect he led, "Church of the Lamb of God." The killers were mostly from amongst LeBaron's 13 wives and 50+ children; many of the victims were also family members.
• Alias: Morrell McDonald, sometimes referred to as "The Mormon Manson"

• Nicole, part of the car theft ring, driving stolen cars from the US to Mexico
• Rebecca, disappeared. Killed by her husband's brothers on orders from her father for being rebellious against her much older husband and his first wife. Unmarked grave, purportedly in Oklahoma, has never been found. She was 17 and pregnant at the time of her disappearance.
• William Heber, who carried out the Houston "Sons of Perdition" murder of Mark Chynoweth
