For what it is worth, Douglas Richardson concurs with the below - wife's maiden name is not known - per Royal Ancestry (2013) Vol V - on page 6. There were no notes listed either. It does show first name as Hawise.
The Wade wife appears to be the wife of another Ralf Basset (of Weldon). Contrast Complete Peerage Vol.2 p.9 and p.2. This Ralf is the one of Drayton (p.2)

http://www.electricscotland.com/webclans/minibios/c/FAMILY_BOOK_VolI.pdf - shows two different Ralphs
-Ralph Bassett of Drayton (1244 - 1299) married Hawise de Grey (1255 - 1343)
-Ralph Bassett of Weldon (1232 - 1291) marriedAlianor Wade (1239 - 1293)
Before 1262 Ralph Basset (1244 - 1299) married Alianor Wade
1262 Ralph and Alianor had a son, Ralph
Before 1273 Ralph married Hawise Grey (c1255 - c1343)
1273 Ralph and Hawise had a son, Richard
after 1279 Ralph and Hawise had a son, Ralph (1279 - 1342)
1280 Ralph and Hawise had a daughter, Margaret (1280 - 1336) AND 1280 Ralph and Alianor had a son, John
1285 Ralph and Hawise had a son, John (1285 - 1342)
It would appear that, between 1273 and 1293, Ralph was married to BOTH Alianor AND Hawise.
My guess is that there are two different Ralph Bassett's who have been incorrectly merged.
