Pip

Thank you for your help. I believe I have 3 wikitree ID's. (1) Deborah Eaves, EAVES-537. (2) Deborah J. (Eaves) Kirkland, EAVES-1052. (3) Deborah J. Eaves, EAVES-1175. Apparently, I just cannot decide what my name is. Do I use my maiden name, married name or both? I believe Eaves-1175 is the account I need to keep. I actually was able to include my ancestry tree address on it AND not positive I would be able to perform that task again. Also, my mother recently passed away and that date is included on the EAVES-1175 ID. I tried to merge the 1175 and 1052 but both are active and instructed to delete one of the accounts e-mail. Easy enough but what do I do about the 537 account. This account was not listed as active until I tried to merge it with the active account I was going to remove by deleting the e-mail. The message about more than one active account popped up again. Would you be able to delete/remove the Eaves -537 account and the Eaves-1052 account. I will do my best to keep only one account from now on. I do have one more problem. I am listed as my own half sister??. I am from the south and everyone knows about kissing cousins but I am ALMOST Positive that I am not my own half sister. Sorry...

THANK YOU SO MUCH.....Debbie (yes, another name)

Deborah,

It looks like you have two accounts. Eaves-1053 and Eaves-1052. If they are the same, they need to be merged together. Merge into 1052. If you need any assistance, I will be glad to help you.

Hello Deborah,

You are now a Family Member! I hope you enjoy this site as much as I do, as it is a lot of fun and there are tons of great people collaborating.

We are so happy to have you here in the WikiTree family, your contributions will go a long way to joining the world together.

I would suggest starting with the New Member How-To pages, they will save you a lot of time and frustration. Don't be afraid to ask questions in our G2G forum and get involved as much or as little as works for you. Be sure to check out the tabs at the very top right hand side of your profile, there is lots to discover!

I am here to answer any question you have, no matter how trivial you may think it is. There is no such thing as a silly question. Please add as much information as you can, it all helps to turn a “name” back into a person.

Happy tree climbing!
