Biography

Félicité was born about 1746.

Félicité and her family are believed to have been among the Acadians who escaped the 1755 Deportation by seizing, with other passengers, the boat Pembroke, which was supposed to transport them from Annapolis Royal to exile in North Carolina. Félicité was around 9 years of age at the time.[1][2]

She passed away on 6 March 1824 and was buried on 8th March 1824.[3]
