Communication Preferences:
I am interested in communicating with
cousins and anyone else with an interest in genealogy.
My family tree is at <https://www.ancestry.com/family-tree/tree/166110649/family?cfpid=212156981103>.
I hail from the Clutter (Klotter) family via Casper Clutter from Germany, my part of this family settled the Greene and Washington County, PA area. I am very interested in everything regarding the settlement in SW PA.
My ancestral roots are primarily, German with a little English, French, Scottish and Dutch mixed in.
I began my family research in 1991 after a visit to my father’s family in SW Pennsylvania. The area and way of life felt like I stepped back in time 100 years and I was hooked.
Focusing on the paternal side of my family which is primarily in Washington and Greene County Pennsylvania, specific names of interest are Clutter, Ealy, Elliott, Beabout, Armstrong, Fry, Wolfe, Headley and Rutan. My Clutter ancestors were among the first families to settle this area. The early settlement was along the Ten Mile creek with early homesteads in the area between Prosperity, PA and Amity, PA.

Congratulations on certifying to work on pre-1700 profiles! It’s very important to read and understand the Pre-1700 Profiles page. These profiles for deep ancestors are shared by many, and collaborating on them works best if we all follow the guidelines in the certification quiz.
Primary sources should always be added to pre-1700 profiles at the time they are created. If you don't have a source for a pre-1700 profile, it would be best to ask for help in the G2G forum before creating the profile.
We are so happy you decided to upgrade to the Family Member level.
Please visit our tutorial pages to learn how to use WikiTree: How To Use WikiTree. They will save you time, energy, and frustration as you add your family profiles.
Exploring the site is the best way to learn. One way to do that is to check out the drop-down menus on the top right side of your profile page. Finding a known ancestor and collaborating with the profile manager is another great way to start.
Questions? You can always use the G2G link in the Help Menu to find answers.
