Jessica,

WikiTree's Native American project periodically reviews those with the NA Project badge. We noticed that you have been inactive on WikiTree for a long time. Knowing that life does happen and priorities shift, we just wanted to check in with you to see if you were still interested in participating in this project. We look forward to hearing from you.

Hi Jessica! I am your 18th cousin, once removed through Alexander Seton,1st Lord Gordon (my 17th GGF) from your paternal line: Boyd. Nice to know you.
Hi Jessica , Welcome to the project . Part of the project is also finding out what lines can help our members connect to her line .

I am not a Decscendent myself but the project was created to protect the profiles, clean them up and source them for accuracy.

There is a template for the decendants. I will be home tomorrow and may be able to figure your connection.

Have a good day.

Now that you have had a little time to try WikiTree, there are a few more features you may find useful.

Ideas on what to include in a profile can be found in Styles and Standards, including some tips on writing biographies.

If you need to describe an event, an heirloom or a location relevant to your research, you may like to learn about Free Space Profiles.

Lastly, sometimes you'll run into unresponsive profile managers. We have a process for resolving those unfortunate situations.

If you have any questions, feel free to ask via my profile page.

Greetings Jessica.

I think I added you to the Boyd and Gulledge lines, if I didn't do it correctly let me know. If I can be of any assistance, let me know.

Welcome aboard Wiki Tree!!

There is a lot to learn at Wiki Tree. It took me about six months to find the Style link under Help. I wish I had started there!

I'm from Magnolia in Pike County Mississippi, are you from that area?

Good Luck

Allan Thomas

Hello,

Thank you for joining WikiTree. As a WikiTree Mentor I am available to answer any questions or help solve any issues you may be having. How is your experience with Wikitree going? Our G2G Forum is searchable or you can post a question there.

Do you have Royal Ancestors? They are already here on Wikitree! Rather than create duplicate profiles for them, please contact the EuroAristo Project to discuss connecting your family line to their profiles.

The Help Index is also an important place to find how to do most tasks.

Feel free to ask me via my profile page if you have any questions.

"It is important to learn about your lineage for yourself, and for future generations." So true, Jessica. Thank you for joining our community.

Our Honor Code, G2G message forum, help pages, search features, and many other useful links can be accessed from the menus on the upper right corner of most pages.

VERY IMPORTANT: The more documents, sources, dates, and locations you provide on the profiles you create, the stronger your branches and our mutual global tree will be. If you don't know the correct date, please estimate using before or after.

Thank you for helping in our mission to build a global tree with only one profile per person.

Hope you enjoy WikiTree!

Genetics have always been an interesting topic for me, and I don't think I have come across a better way to contribute while learning and exploring where you came from! It is important to learn about your lineage for yourself, and for future generations.
