Hello Julie,

Thanks for taking the Pre-1700 Quiz!

Because pre-1700 ancestors are usually shared by many descendants, collaborating with members of the projects which coordinate them is essential.

Use the Pre-1700 Projects list to find one which best fits your research focus, whether time period, location, or topic. Review the project pages to learn about resources and guidelines as well as how to collaborate with the project members.

Can't find what you're looking for? Let me know, and I can make some suggestions! :-)

Remember to cite reliable sources in pre-1700 profiles you manage, or edit. (See: Pre-1700 Reliable Sources).

Hi ,

You are now a member of the WikiTree Community. We are trying to build one Collaborative Tree which means one profile per person. It is important to ensure no duplicates are entered as you add any Profiles to WikiTree.

If you need any help getting started check out the help section from the menu, top left, or head over to the G2G forum, you might want to check out the introductory WikiTree video that a member created.

Our Mentor Team are a friendly bunch of volunteers who will be glad to help you with specific problems if you have any.

Good luck growing your branches, and thanks for offering to help with our shared tree - Matty Gerrard :)

Hi! My father started trying to do our family genealogy over a half century ago before computers and didn't get very far. I've been working on both the STANTON tree and my late partner's tree with the last name of HARE. I've made some progress and and am trying to take the tree further back. I do have brick walls and I'm sure some of it is because I'm not sure of the best was to research. With too limited of a budget right now to pay for any genealogy sites, I'm looking for both help on ways to research as well as help in finding my ancestors. I hope to help with WikiTree in any way I can.

I'm originally from UT and hope to be moving back there in the coming year. If anyone wants more info on me just send me a message! Cheers...and happy searching!
