Philippe LeBlanc is a descendant of an Acadian

Philippe LeBlanc was born on either December 26 or 24, 1852 [1] in Tusket Wedge, Yarmouth County, Nova Scotia to Maximin LeBlanc and Geneviève Boudreau[2]. He was baptized on January 1, 1853 [1].

At age 24, Philippe married Ann Justine Bourque in 1879 in Eel Brook, Yarmouth County, Nova Scotia. At the time, he was living in Tusket Wedge and working as a Fisherman [2]. At the time of his son Éloi's marriage in 1918, he was listed as a farmer [3].

Philippe died on October 1st, 1943 at age 90 [1] in Wedgeport, Nova Scotia[4]. His funeral took place on October 3, 1943 [1]
