John grew up in Österåker, a suburb to Stockholm.

Studied Computer Science, Articial Intelligence at Mälardalen University 2001-2006.

Worked at Gamefederation and Ida Infront in Stockholm until 2011. Worked at HiQ from 2011 and Hitachi Energy from 2023, both in Västerås.

Partner is Anne-Maj Kops.

Research Notes

I seem to come from a endogamous group of people on my father's side, all the way back to finns emigrating into Sweden in the 1500s. This makes it a bit harder using centimorgans to guess relations, and you need vey complete geneological trees instead.
