Marie Louise Brodeur married Jean Moreau, son of Ignace Moreau and Marie Audet, on 12 Jan 1761 in Sainte-Anne de Varennes. In the presence of known witnesses Christophe Brodeur, Jean Baptiste Hébert François Hébert. The celebrant priest was Morand. [Act states: "Given the permission of Monsieur Montgolfier vicar general of this diocese to marry him without a certificate from Mrs. Les Cures Youville and Delignerie"].[2]

Research Notes

Marriage act lists the mother of Marie Louise Brodeur as Marie Viau deceased. Marie Viau was Marie Louise mother's mother. Most certainly a clerical error made by the priest.

Brodeur-362 and Brodeur-7 appear to represent the same person because: I believe these two profiles represent the same person. Same marriage date; Jean Baptiste Moreau was baptised Gentien and most of his life used the name Jean Baptiste. Please merge to clear duplicates. Thank you. Ali
