Biography
Jeanne Birgitta Sofia Kristina was born in Kristiania, Norge 4 May 1921. She was registered with her mother, actress Lilly Kristina Eriksson in Helsingborg, Maria parish until November 1921, when they moved to Stockholm. There is a note in this record that according to the baptism attest from the vicar in Vor Frelsers parish in Kristiania, the father of this child was the liutenant Folke Bernadotte af Wisborg.[1]
According to the article in Fokus (below) Bernadotte af Wisborg settled money on the child, to be paid out as a monthly subsidy unil she reached maturity, when it would be at her disposal.
Jeanne's mother married the CEO of The Banana Company, Carl Mathiessen in 1925, and Mathiessen adopted Jeanne.[2]
Jeanne Birgitta Sofia Kristina Matthiessen married Erik Gösta Norlander 27 July 1940.[3]
At the time of the Swedish census 1950, Jeanne Birgitte Sofia Kristina Granström (maiden name Matthisen) lived in Saltsjöbaden with her husband since 7 April 1947, the painter Gösta Granström (1908-1957) and three children (two of them from the marriage with Norlander).[4]
When Jeanne Birgitta E. Sofia Kristina Granström died in Saltsjöbaden 17 May 1991, she was a widow since 4 February 1957.[5]
