Diane (Felton) Gibson

For several years I searched for Felton ancestry, th en was told I was wasting my time because my grandfather had changed his name. My own father was not aware of this. He told one of his daughters lnlaw he had changed his name from Goodbread to Felton because his brother was the meanest man on earth. Oliver Prerry Felton died when I was a few months old. I was never able to question him. Now I am searching the Goodbread line. I am not very knowledgable about genelogy but would be willing to help in any way possible.
