Biography

Unfotunately, she isn't in the Wall of Names Booklet with her parents and four siblings but she should be.

Victor Desforest is on the Wall of Names at the Acadian Memorial in St. Martinville, Louisiana Plaque 11-Right La Ville d'Archangel. Listed with him are: his wife Marie Jeanne Richer, and four children: Jean, Etienne Gilles, Servanne Julienne and Jeanne Isabelle.[1]

Anne Perinne Forest is one of triplets.

Anne Perinne was born in 1764. She was the daughter of Victor Forest and Anne Josephe Hebert. [2]

She was with her family on the September 1784 census taken at St. Malo, Ille-et-Vilaine, Bretagne, France.[3]

On list of Acadians in France who wanted to go to Louisiana "to establish themselves at the expense of His [Spanish] Catholic Majesty" (Cites: A.D.S. Legajo 2575).
On the list from "ST. MALO:"
Victor DÉ FORET, with wife J. M. RICHET, 5 sons, 5 daughters, for a total of 12 in family.

On 3 December 1785 she debarked from La Ville d'Archangel at the port of New Orleans, Orleans, LA.[4]

Marie Adelaïde DESFORETS, age 15, daughter of Victor FOREST, traveling with him and his 4th wife Marie Jeanne RICHER and six other children as the 12th family of 6 [sic, 9] persons aboard La Ville d'Archangel.
Anne Perrine DESFORETS, age 20, traveled to Louisiana with her father Victor and his 4th wife, with six other children, as the 12th family (of 6 [sic, should be 9] persons) aboard "La Ville d'Archangel."

On 8 July 1786, six months after arrival, she married with Jean Baptiste BAZINET in New Orleans, Orleans.[5]

She passed away in 1800 and was buried on 3 October 1800, St. Louis Cathedral, New Orleans, Louisiana.[6]
