Biography

Abraham was born at Ipswich October16, 1659, the son of Abraham Foster and Lydia Burbank[1] [2] [3]

He was a soldier in the military service of the colony "and was wounded in the public service and is to receive 8 pounds out of the public treasury 'for smart money.'"[2]

On November 15, 1693, he married Mary Robinson, daughter of Robert Robinson of Newbury, at Rowley Mass[4][2] [3]

Children:

  1. Abraham, born June 12, 1696[1] [3], who married Sarah Dunnell[2]
  2. Nathan, born May 17, 1700[5] [3], who married Hannah Standish[2]
  3. Daniel, born April 13, 1705[6] [3], who married Hannah Clark and Elizabeth Davis[2]

He died on May 23, 1741[3] He died without a will, however his funeral expenses were paid on August 24, 1741, and on April 5, 1742, his widow Mary, and son Abraham signed administration to Daniel, and on June 1, 1742, Nathan signed acceptance of his portion[7]
