Biography

Mary, the wife of was born about 1598 (assuming she was about 20 at her estimated marriage.) Her last name, parents and specific origins are unknown. Mary and Thomas Rawlins were married by about 1618 (or by 1632, when she was admitted to the Roxbury Church, if she was not the mother of all his children). She passed away in about 1639 in Roxbury.[1] "Mary Rawlins, the wife of Thomas Rawlins, she lived a godly life, & went through with weakness of body, & after some years, when her husband was removed to sittuate, she died about the year 1639."[2]

Note: the original profile had her LNAB as Fremont. Without any sources, this has been changed to "Unknown".

Research notes

FindAGrave memorial has an exact date of death (29 Nov 1639), but without a source.

Estimated birth: If Mary was not the mother of all of Thomas Rawlins children, and married him later in New England, her birth would be estimated at about 1612.
