I can’t believe how much misinformation is on this wiki site. And Don Greens book is a bunch of stolen information without sources. All he did was confuse everybody about their real Heritage.

These Greens are my family but I’m not related to Don Greene. His book is a lot of stolen information including mine. He has nothing sourced. What a pity he did this to all of our families. Just so he can make a dime off of our research. AHole

John Green that married Elizabeth was alive and well in 1778 Mecklenburg Va. He sold all of his land in Virginia and likely move to North Carolina. I think he died 1780s Rowan North Carolina on swearing creek.

His son Gardner green is my fifth great grandfather. Gardner Green sold his land around 1780 Mecklenburg Virginia and moved to Surrey North Carolina. He can then be found on 1790 Greenville South Carolina.

He does have Native American ancestry. I show Native American blood in my ancestry.com DNA. And I know it’s for my father’s family because my mother moved here from Germany in 1957. And I have a strong direct DNA connection to John Green and Elizabeth grain. John’s parents Henry Green and Elizabeth Griffin. Me and my cousins all have double DNA connections to this family. Gardner green is our ancestor.

I’ve been researching this family for 35 years. And the Native American goes way back to the northern neck of Virginia. The Powhatan tribes. The Meherrin Nottoway Indian Nansemond Indian.

These greens married into the Sizemore and Jackson native American families. Everybody disputed it we were never given federal recognition. 200 of the green family file for native American citizenship. 2000 of the Sizemore family that we married into file for native American citizenship. All of them were rejected.

And now the Sizemore's DNA test have proved a direct mail G haplogroup DNA. So they had a direct mail Native American ancestor. They are currently federally recognized as the white top Laurel group of Cherokee.

Me peeps were also called the red stick people. Because they fled the trail of tears and lived up in the sticks to hide from exodus. True story Of South Carolina North Carolina and Tennessee 1st people. They later moved to the white river in Arkansas. They formed a small tribe and became known as the white top laurel group of Cherokee Indian.

Enough for now. If anybody wants some of the true information on this gardener grain and his father John Green and mother Elizabeth. Feel free to contact me.

My Greens actually came over from Whales.. On the ship speed well. But some of the family members married into Native American tribes.

“Cite your sources”

Excuse all the grammar but I’m talking into my phone. Cheers

According to that geni profile he was buried at St. Michael's Church, Derby, Derbyshire, Eng. Not sure I'd put much credence in their research.
