If Geesje Hendricksen was born in 1694 (or any time before about 1708), she cannot have been the daughter of Hendrick by his wife Helena Cortelyou. They did not marry until after 4 April 1708, the date of a prenuptial agreement directing that Helena's children by her previous marriages should have equal shares in her estate.[1] The Henry Hendricks Family Organization (HHFO) identifies her mother as Hendrick’s first wife, Tryntje Van Dyke, whom he married about 1703. The HHFO suggests that Geesje, who was named for her paternal grandmother, probably was the oldest of Hendrick's children and was born about 1704 (assuming marriage in about 1724).
I am revising this profile's connections to make Trijntje van Dijk her mother. Smith-62120 03:11, 4 August 2022 (UTC)
