[Note: Mother's LNAB: GMIV: 2005: 232 indicates George's mother is identified as Agnes (unk) as 'Farnsworth' is only in secondary sources, based on William Lane naming a 'brethren Joseph Farnsworth' in his will. Brethren may indicate a church association. Farnsworth is uproven. The recent synopsis in Early New England Families Study Project, continues to call her Agnes (unk). NEHGS: 156: 2002: 147, identifies her as Agnes Farnsworth, but has cites only the 1897 Lane Genealogies by James Fitts. ]
