Biography

Louis Letolliere is on the Wall of Names at the Acadian Memorial in St. Martinville, Louisiana Plaque 7-Right la Bergere. Listed with him is his spouse Elisabeth Le Blanc and two children: Henry Aimable and Marie Adelaide.[1]

Elizabeth was born in 1757. She is the daughter of Felix LeBlanc and Marie Josephe Theriot.

Louis LETULLIER [LE TOLLIERET on the French embarkation record], a woodworker age 41, traveling with his wife Élizabeth LEBLANC, age 29, and two children, as the 41st family (of 4 persons) aboard "La Bergère." Upon debarkation, he received from the Spanish authorities 1 each of axe, hatchet, shovel and meat cleaver; and 2 hoes.
