Hi ,

Now that you have had a little time to try WikiTree, there are a few more features you may find useful. Ideas on what to include in a profile can be found in Styles and Standards, including some tips on writing biographies. If you need to describe an event, an heirloom or a location relevant to your research, you may like to learn about Free Space Profiles. Lastly, sometimes you'll run into unresponsive profile managers. We have a process for resolving those unfortunate situations. If you have any questions, feel free to ask via my profile page. _____ Matt~ WikiTree Mentor

Hi Dell!

Thanks for asking about your GEDCOM. Here's your GEDmatches report:

It looks like you still need to complete step #2. Once you do that it will come to me for review and once it's approved it'll be processed into WikiTree. If you have any questions, let me know!

Dell

I am joining Wikitree to add another tool is searching out my family history, for the most part right now, my surname. As with many amateur genealogists, the paper trail has gone cold so I have recently shifted to DNA tests as a way to come at our history from both directions.

Hi again, I noticed you uploaded a GEDCOM. Here's a link to a great step-by-step of the process including screenshots that you might find helpful.

The help pages give lots of information about the process, best to start with 'Before you import a GEDCOM'
