Sudbury Township Affairs
11 Oct 1676, Petition to the Governor, Magistrates & Deputies of the General Court assembled at Boston regarding the destruction of property (houses and Barnes) during the “late Indian wars” [King Philip's War] on 21 April 1676 included a list of 33 property owners and monetization of their destroyed property. “Zechriah Maynard” was one of the petition signers but as his name is not included in the destroyed property list it is assumed his was spared. (Hudson, Alfred S., pg.258-9)

1689 and the "Ten Years War" Zachariah Maynard’s name is included in a Town Records list as being among those persons who agreed to take public stock of ammunition into their hands and respond “in case resistance of the enemy”. (Hudson, Alfred S., pg. 269.) See Research Notes

Death
Zachariah Maynard passed away 11 Feb 1723/4 in Sudbury, Middlesex, Massachusetts.[7] Wife Hannah (Goodrich) Maynard passed away 30 July 1719, Sudbury.

Research Notes
According to author Hudson the town of Sudbury, granted as early as 1638, to Messrs. Pendleton, Noyse, Brown & Company, was incorporated 1639 and was an offshoot of Marlborough. [8]

Sudbury Town location and nearby settlements beginning on the north side rotating clockwise (north, east, south west):

(n)Action, (ne)Concord, (ne)Lincoln, (w)Weston & (w)Wayland, (se)Cochituate, (s)Framingham (and nearby Natick), (sw)Southborough, (w)Marlborough, (nw)Stow and (nw)Maynard.

1689 and the Ten Years War: War broke out between England and France known as King William’s or the “Ten Years War” and it “menaced the frontier towns of New England”. The French, sanctioned by the governor general of Canada, “sought alliance with the Indians”. During these years Sudbury was less exposed that it had been during King Philip’s War but was exposed to “large drafts on her (already) weak resources”. “About 1689 hostilities broke out among the settlements of New Hampshire and Maine and the county of Middlesex was called upon to send its troops and munitions of war to the ravaged districts between the Penobscot and Merrimac.” (Hudson, Alfred, S., pg. 269.)

Hello PM: With primary sources I've linked into the Zachariah Maynard and Hannah Goodrich Maynard line via their son Zachariah (Jr.). If you have any questions please don't hesitate to ask. In any regard, hello cousin.  :)
Maynard-1030 and Maynard-544 appear to represent the same person because: Same birth, death, Father, children. I think the only difference is he had two wives.

Zachry was never an Axtell. See bio for birth record. You should change his LNAB to Maynard.
