Occupation: Became a farmer after done in the military.

Military Service: Soldier of the Royal Rousillon Regiment.

On April 6, 1758, he sailed from Brest in Brittany with troops under the command of General Montcalm to fight the British in New France. He traveled aboard the illustrious, equipped with sixty-four cannons. He arrived in Quebec on May 30, 1756, and served notably in the Battle of Carillon and the Plains of Abraham.
