Biography
Lastie Ritter, son of Honore "Henry" Ritter and Marie Magdeleine Jeansonne, was born 10 July 1820. He was baptised on 31 October 1820 by Father Flavius Henri Rossi of the St. Landry Catholic Church in Opelousas, St. Landry Parish, Louisiana, USA. Sponsors were Simon Fontenot and Anastasie Ritter.[1]
He was mentioned as an heir in his father's succession in 1825.[2]
He may have died about 1884 in Opelousas,[3]
but no source has yet been found to support this date. Since there are no known records for him after 1825, it's possible he may have died young.
