Free Space pages are wiki pages for supplementing your family history. They can be used to profile anything of significance such as a special pet, an event, a family heirloom .... They're "anything pages".
Not sure what to include in a profile? Check out our Biography Ideas and Styles and Standards help pages.
Sometimes you'll run into unresponsive profile managers. We have a process for resolving those unfortunate situations.
Hi Roderick, I'm Mary, a Mentor. Our goal is to build a collaborative tree with just one profile per person, so please make sure to avoid http://www.wikitree.com/wiki/Duplicates before adding a profile.
Adding DOB, DOD, locations, references attached to every person assists all of us!
Encounter ancestors already on WikiTree, contact the PM for trusted access.
Having a genealogical site that is free will allow a continuing growth of trees and family contacts that an expensive and little used service does not.
Thanks for you answer. No, Wikitree and Wikipedia are different sites and are not related. Wikipedia is an encyclopedia and Wikitree is a Global Genealogy Tree.
The only similarities of those two projects are that they are FREE and feed by their members.
I will be happy to confirm your account the day you press on the Volonteer button :)
