The project profile [email address removed] has been added to the trusted list of this profile [Privacy Tab] and then also activated as active manager (this profile has been validated with a [transcription of a] baptism [image]. and [will be] Project Profile Protected). All remaining active managers have been moved to the trusted list. Appreciatively thanks, Philip (project research coordinator)

Vanderwesthuizen-2 and Van Westhuijsen-3 appear to represent the same person because: Clear duplicate, Merge into an already PPP'd profile

Ronel (van Heerden) Olivier
I also changed the Baptismal place back to Cape of Good Hope and added alternative place ie: Stellenbocsh

I changed the baptismal date back to the way it was because that is the way I prefer it. I also removed the one transcription from the Baptismal entry. Not sure why both are displayed.
Van Westhuysen-2 and Van Westhuijsen-3 appear to represent the same person because: Duplicates. Van_Westhuijsen-3 has the more correct spelling of the LNAB even though it has the higher number. I'll do the final integration of the bio after the merge, thanks!

Old Dutch did not know the full y - this is a modern adaptation; also an Anglicized version. It Would have been van Westhuijsen - it was only later in the 18th century that the ij morphed into the y (there is a G2G-thread about it: Bea will know to find it ...).

Richard Ball gives LNAB as van Westhuysen and Corne Keller gives LNAB as van Westhuijsen. I added the transcript as van Westhuysen: No Image available

Please advise Thanks R

Van Der Westhuizen-82 and Van der Westhuizen-390 appear to represent the same person because: Same data (name, spouse, d.o.b.) Van_der_Westhuizen-390 has the more correct spelling of the LNAB and should be the target profile to merge into.
