Anthony was born in 1780. He was drafted into Swift's and Dobbin's 144th N.Y. Regt during the War of 1812.[1]He was assigned to Swift's and Dobbin's 144th N.Y. Regt. which invaded Canada, which had the longest and bloodiest engagement of the 1812 War. [2]
In the 1850 census William (age 76) was in Durell, Asylum Township, Bradford, Pennsylvania, United States.[3]
