Thanks for your greeting. I joined so that I could add the parents of my ancestor Robert Bond Campfield. I have a tree at Ancestry, but some how it certain ancestors were really messed up. So I will try to start over here. So I started with Rachel Bond and added her parents and then added her daughter Mary, but she was already in WikiTree. I didn't expect that since there were no children listed on Rachel's page. So now should I just start with myself and work up the tree and join up with my ancestors that I find here?

Hi Rita, Mickey is unavailable at the moment. Yes, it is best to start with yourself and work your way back. As you have seen you will often find some of your relatives/ancestors already have profiles. Sometimes, some of the children or siblings may not be connected to their parents. If we find that we just connect them it helps keep from creating duplicates. It sounds like you are off to a great start and learning quickly. :-)
