Hello Richard,

Thanks for taking the Pre-1700 Quiz!

Pre-1700 ancestors can be shared by many descendants, so collaboration is essential. You can learn more about joining the community in How To #3 and in the Project FAQ.

The England Project may fit your research focus. If not, use the Pre-1700 Projects list to find other possibilities. Review the project page to learn about resources and guidelines as well as how to collaborate with the project members.

Have questions? Ask in the comments section of my profile.

Remember to cite reliable sources in pre-1700 profiles you manage, or edit. (See: Pre-1700 Reliable Sources).

Hi Debi,

I am looking for a book to buy or import on my family history and don't know how to go about it. The book is

The Burtts: A Lincolnshire Quaker Family 1500-1900 written by Mary Bowen Burtt.

I have tried the internet but it is out of print.

Thanks Richard Burt

Hi Richard,

My first suggestion would be to upgrade to the Family Member level (no charge) so that you can ask in the Genealogist-to-Genealogist (G2G) forum whether anyone has the book. The link to upgrade is in the upper right corner of your profile and Navigation Home pages.

According to page 37 and page 42 of The Southern friend [serial] : journal of the North Carolina Friends Historical Society, 1979, a copy was donated to the Friends Historical Collection. The collection is now part of Guilford College's Quaker Archives. I suggest using their Contact Us link in the left column and asking the librarian if they still have the book and, if so, how you could view it.

I hope this helps,

Debi

How do I get my DNA test results from Ancestry to you
posted by Richard Burt
Hi Richard,

At WikiTree we do not analyze or store your RAW DNA. We help DNA cousins find each other. We do that by letting you identify which tests you have taken and whether you have uploaded your test to the GEDMatch.com website. Since you have already done that (see the DNA connections in the right column of your profile), you are set.
