Ben Couch III was awarded the Golden Achievement Milestone for at least one sourced profile tracked every month since you received the Sourcerers Badge in the 2023 Sourcerers Project Sourcerers' Challenge.
Registration begins soon for the January thon. I will be reminding you when it is time to register, but I have some news that will be helpful when that time comes. I have been told that we will be trying a new registration system. When you go in to register, it will not be just making a comment as in the past. The new system will have sections for each team. You will just find the Legacy Heirs one and post to that one.
That means the first Thon of the year will be a Connect-a-Thon on the weekend of the 19 - 22 Jan 2024. I would love to have you with your fellow Legacy Heirs at that time, if it works out for you. I will remind you about registration when that time comes.
P.S. I now know a quick and easy little tip on how to add profiles. If you use the Sourcer/Searcher app, and want to know the hint, let me know and I will send you the steps.
I have corrected the profile and added sources. You likely noted his mother later married a Hudspeth. Adding to the confusion is an Alonzo Hudspeth of about the same period.
Thanks for noting the error.
BTW, we are 14th, 3x cousins going back to a common ancestor likely born in Wales.
My name is John Kingman. I am a Coordinator with the WikiTree DNA Project.
Since you are following a DNA tag, you may be interested in how DNA test matches can be used to supplement your genealogy. You will find the answers in the Help pages, of which the DNA Help category page shows all the DNA help that is available, and the How to Get Started with DNA page is highlighted.
You may see some relatives show up in your list of "DNA Connections" on your profile if they have added a DNA test to their profile. These DNA Connections are possible DNA test matches, they are not sufficient for marking parental relationships as "confirmed with DNA" without providing a DNA Confirmation source citation providing details of the DNA match.
When you are ready to start documenting that your genealogy sources are confirmed by DNA test matches, be sure to follow the guidance at the DNA Confirmation help page. Also, please try out the DNA Confirmation Citation Maker, I strongly recommend it for creating and/or validating your DNA confirmation source citations. A profile should not be marked "confirmed with DNA" without source citations for both genealogy and DNA test matching.
If you have questions or need assistance, feel free to ask on the G2G Forum using the Tag "DNA" and/or "DNA_Confirmation".

I saw the Research Note you left on https://www.wikitree.com/wiki/Dunlap-5032 questioning why Last Name at Birth was shown as Hudspeth.
Hudspeth is my maternal line.
